Hello! I’m thrilled to say this is my 18th year teaching. I grew up in Pampa, TX and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Special Education degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1995 and a Master of Education in Community Counseling degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1999. I have taught at the Elementary level in Norman, Putnam City, and now Edmond. This will be my 3rd year at Orvis Risner and I love it! I currently live in Edmond with my husband, Bill, two children (Peter and Aubrey), and our furry child Max! I enjoy reading, watching movies, and spending time outdoors with my family. I look forward to a great school year at Orvis!!
